I went to that cabin with a very simple plan; drink until the whiskey ran out, then use my last bullet to set myself free. I'd been bitten so I knew exactly how much time I had left. I also knew what would happen when time ran out and there was no way I was going to let that happen. I wasn't upset about it; I was almost relieved.
