It's the year 2250. Life on the surface of earth has become impossible. Two hundred years ago global warming has forced people to create a new world. Underground. Here the temperature is constant. From initially simply surviving, over two hiundred years a number of highly developed settlements have evolved. We are in the settlement of Bergloong. An ultramodern city with a work-based social structure, sixty metres under the surface of the earth. It is a world physically incomparable to life as it used to be on the Outside. But peoples' need for power and dominance over others has not changed despite all the good intentions and rules established by the Founding Fathers. This story depicts the struggle of one man and a small group of like-minded friends who want to restore true democracy in a world controlled by a tyrannical system called Mascot.
