21 Questions is a fictional, satirical diary of a Religious Studies teacher. "Tilda is retiring!" This means her job is up for grabs. The only problem for Eric Hall, a young Religious Studies teacher, is that his bitter rival, Oliver Parks is in pole position to take it. If Eric is to beat him, he must raise his profile in school, keep on top of the endless marking and tackle the 21 most challenging questions he may ever face. All this whilst trying to avoid telling Year 7 their pets won't go to heaven, clarifying that Jesus wasn't from Stevenage after all and preventing 31 new religions from erupting inside school. Through his diary Eric recounts his efforts to deal with the impossible Year 9s, entertain his demanding Year 10s and inspire future generations with passion, wisdom and occasional sarcasm. If that wasn't enough, he also needs to try and avoid having a love life, drink less coffee and desperately pray that his beloved Sunderland AFC won't be relegated... again.
