This book is a life science prediction, some episodes may be called science fiction. It is written as a view back from the year 2080 to 2020 by a 145-year-old. In 2020 I was inspired by David Sinclair's book "Why we age, and don't have to", where he declares aging a curable disease. The life expectancy then was 82 years, and the biological maximum age was generally assumed to be 120. Since this book is written in 2024 the references to medications and cures must be considered science fiction, although taken from existing literature. Also, names of researchers, doctors, and politicians are fiction. The book describes how medical discoveries and lifestyle lead to high age, and describes the technologies that shape our life up to 2085, and it ends in the ultimate test of a solo sail around the Americas at age 145, so expect a great part about sailing.
