2021 Parrotts Ferry Road Pedestrian Study

The 2021 Parrotts Ferry Road Pedestrian Study analyzes pedestrian behaviors within a 1.38-mile-long section of Parrotts Ferry Road in the community of Columbia, California. This study is based on the results of 692 individual surveys conducted throughout 2021 in which 764 pedestrians were observed traveling in the study area. The purpose of this study is to determine the different types of pedestrians and the proportion of pedestrians that were observed traveling within the roadway. An analysis of existing pedestrian pathways within the study area is included to demonstrate the need for more pedestrian facilities along the Parrotts Ferry Road corridor.
