This anthology of terrors would become the last set created using photography, fear and graphic design. After season 4, I joined the ranks of Inktober and illustrated the following seasons by hand.

Always afraid that I would run out of ideas, this season I found inspiration from the mundane -- from the every day.

I found fresh horrors in the news, from conversations between friends, other people's fears, and objects that posed no threat day in and day out.

Something wicked didn't come this way -- it was already here. I just had to look it in the eyes and hope that I didn't go blind with fear.
