This book is very helpful.

I recently bought this book to help me write up estamates, it has proved very helpful, especially the program that comes with it. I would recomend this book to any one who is in the construction bussiness, I plan on buying 2 more of the books by this author.

Estimating made easy

I must admit that I was hesitant when I started reading this book. It wasn't by choice, but by necessity that I became pleasantly surprised by Marques' wonderful narrative and witty reportoire on what could and should have been a dry subject. Oh, the reason I read the book was for work - and I increased my sales by 75% the first month after reading it. Thank you!

Good coverage of residential construction costs.

Good coverage of labor and material costs for residential construction plus about 200 pages of costs for light commercial work. Intended primarily for the professional estimator, not do-it-yourself builders. Unlike other building cost references, descriptions are complete -- explains what's included and excluded in each estimate. CD in the back includes all costs in this 450-page book plus a good, professional-quality estimating program(!).
