I work for a publishing company as a fiction editor my boss in named Brian he is a nice guy but one day he called me into his office and with a greeting of Dennis my man I knew something was going on, 'Do you know Malcolm Treddanick.' I looked at him then I said 'is this a trick question' No he said do you know Malcolm Treddanick, 'Not personally he is the English Rugby captain, I replied. 'Oh right he said.' this conversation is getting out of hand. 'Well his mother wants us to publish his memoirs and I want you to do it.' No Brian I am a fiction writer not Bio's. But as it was I had no choice in the argument 'As it seems he has picked you.''No Brian you have picked me, so let's have it right.' And that was that I had been summoned to write a bio for some famous Rugby player, but has it turned out it was a journey I had no idea where it would lead but it did and had some really weird results
