This "1492 Up to Date or Very Near It" book is the full script (with stage notes) of a very loved, unique, musical- comedy Broadway hit show presented from 1892 to 1895. The show was sometimes just called "1492".It starred Theresa Vaughn. My previous book: "Theresa Vaughn and the Buckbee banjo" gives a very good perspective on Theresa Vaughn and her 19th century. Currently some silver plated 1880 Buckbee banjo replicas are being fabricated. Theresa accompanied her wonderful contralto voice with the Buckbee banjo. After months of searching an original "1492" show script was recently discovered at the "Tams-Witmark Wisconsin collection, Mills Music Library, University of Wisconsin-Madison".
