Was this entertaining? Yes. I was impressed by the willful blindness of some of the characters in thinking all the sudden and sometimes very suspicious deaths were merely coincidental accidents or because they were "old" and so a sudden heart attack was normal. Also, the way the police didn't think to get involved, especially after Tristan's death, was very iffy. But it was a fun read, light and humorous fun but dark and twisted too. A festive romp through familial tensions that turn murderous and you can't help but kinda root for the murderer because it is an awful family and most of them deserved it!
I did guess the murderer pretty quick but still enjoyed finding out the different ways that people would die (and there are a few creative ones!). Gloria was definitely my favorite character in the story because she is such a good dog! But Olivia was also easy to root for. Her in-laws are the worst!
I enjoyed reading this even with a few plot holes and so it was a good book for the holidays. Gives some good ways to knock off annoying family members who may be after your rightful inheritance! lol
