Rule #1: Always keep the fireplace burning. Santa isn't the only thing that comes down chimneys.

Rule #4: Never leave children alone with The Elf On A Shelf.
Rule #5: Keep the gingerbread house on the kitchen table where everyone can see it. If it moves, everyone runs.
Rule #6: String popcorn garland together. Count every piece. If the number changes, recount your family members.
Rule #7: Bake cookies daily. The smell of vanilla and cinnamon masks the scent of fear.
Rule #8: Watch Christmas movies together every night. The TV must never show static... or faces you don't recognize.
Rule #9: Hold hands during grace at every meal. If someone's hand feels too cold, don't let go-and don't look up.
Rule #10: Wrap presents as a family. If you find one you didn't wrap, burn it immediately.
Rule #11: Read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' aloud each evening. If the words change, stop reading and lock the doors.
Rule #12: Stay together until Christmas morning. The family that survives together, stays together.
Failure to comply will result in consequences.
