Perfect book for anyone like me who loves my dog

I have an Eskimo Spitz named Chubby who is smarter than most people I know. I've had him for 4 years and he is my constant companion. When I read this book I knew the author was talking for me and my friends who have dogs who are their children. Chubby is always happy and cheerful and just thrilled to be with me. We go everywhere together.
