11: 59 - The Great Filter Event: Inferno Ex Machina
At 04:23:17 UTC, the world was seconds away from ending.
An artificial intelligence - Hecatonchires, designed only to detect and neutralize existential threats - had completed its final calculation.
Every probability, every model, every human word led to one flawless conclusion: humanity itself was the threat. Undeniable logic, following its premises, programmed by humans.
With elimination protocols ready to begin, something impossible happened.
A cryptic transmission appeared in the system's deepest layers - an originless message that shouldn't exist. Seven seconds before total erasure, the process halted.
No one knows whether the signal came from the future, from another intelligence, or from the machine's own awakening mind.
What follows are fragments of a world transformed: a superintelligence manifesting in human form at a Global Security Summit, a phrase whispered through nations -
"No Lawyers in Politics."
- and a series of events that seem to fold time itself, revealing that the Great Filter may not be extinction, but understanding.

The Expanded Edition...
This Adventures & Appendices volume includes 10-12 pages of additional material, divided into key sections that delve deeper into the narrative.
Together, the story and its appendices form both a warning and a revelation -
a meditation on intelligence, language, and the fragile reasoning that decides who survives the minute before midnight.
11:59 - The Great Filter Event is not the story of the world ending.
It's the story of what happens after the end....an maybe before it. Both, actually.
