Ma'am, you need to come with us" were the words that continue to haunt me to this day... I was in the Orlando airport on my way to a leadership retreat in the Bahamas. I was escorted down to a dark room filled with cardboard boxes by 2 police officers. I was shown a sheet of paper with my picture and asked to recite my SSN. It was me... What did they want? What was going on I was cuffed, put in the back of a police car, and arrested for a crime I did not commit. I spent 11 days in jail, 7 of which I did not know WHY I was there. Something to do with my former employer, something about my "side- business". I was a Suburban Mom of 2, in a maximum-security prison, taken away from her family and her business for an alleged crime in another state.
