106 Pieces of Nude Photo Manipulation Artwork

This book contains a collection of 106 nude photo manipulation art images taken from my website www.ajolsonphotography.com . Why 106? --It seemed like a good, solid, arbitrary number. When I create a piece of nude photo manipulation artwork, I start with a volunteer; I take multiple photographs of that individual and layer images together. Erasing and blending the parts I need, a new image is created. Colors in my images can be shifted. Images can be warped and skewed. Textures can be combined and blended together. Digital coloring over my images occurs, sometimes. I add 3D generated elements into my work on occasion. There are times that I know what I want to create ahead of time. Other times, I create on a whim, based on what feels right, and my current emotions.I have a strong background in fine arts, focusing on drawing, painting and sculpting. I am also a skilled Visual Effects & Motion Graphics Artist. I am a firm believer that photo manipulation is as much an art form as drawing & painting is; it is just a different medium. It is my medium of choice.
