This is a great reference for places to eat, have coffee, go hiking, take photos, to get out and enjoy the Door the way the natives do. We just bought a cottage in Ellison Bay, have been to Door County numerous times, and I sure did learn a lot of new places to go visit and check out. There are places that are well kept secrets by the "natives." Its a great resource for once you're up there and are looking for something to do other than go in the tourist shops. Nothing wrong with that but the Door has so much to offer - naturwise- biking, hiking, kayaking, family activities, etc. We are keeping an extra copy in our cottage for visitors, and hoping it doesn't get taken!
