Did you know that Pokemon GO started out as an April Fools' Day prank in 2014? Google teamed up with The Pokemon Company, and came up with an April Fools' Day challenge which involved capturing Pokemon on Google Maps. And did you know that Farfetch'd can only be found in Asia? Different regions in the world offer different Pokemon. For example: Tauros can only be found in North America. It is only in New Zealand and Australia where Khengaskan can be found, while Mr. Mime is exclusive to Europe. It is interesting to note that the Pokemon called Deino and its evolutions, Zweilous and Hydreigon have the German numbers of one (ein), two (zwei) and three (drei) in their names: dEINo, ZWEIlous and hyDREIgon. On the other hand, legendary birds: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres all end in Spanish numbers: Uno, Dos, and Tres which means one, two and three in English.
