The challenge is converting the game to a more recent language.

I kept two copies so I could wear one out. I never did manage to complete all 101 games. They were designed using Microsoft 8K Basic Rev. 4.0. David H. Ahl is the Founder of Creative Computing. Playing Star Trek(TM) game on a TRS-80 got me mesmerized for hours on end. However, with a little tweaking, BASIC still does just fine with various alterations for different computers. One advantage of BASIC is peek and poke, which allows you to get down to machine level and use vectors. Vector is a strange word; it mostly means a pointing direction. In computing, it is a point that points to a different point. I learned the hard way in the military that a vector is a disease-carrying insect that can be used on an enemy.
