With everyone so excited about the new artificial intelligence apps which are able to compose poetry, as well as love letters and college entrance essays, I thought it would be a good time to release another installment of these more retro-style computer generated sonnets. These are 1001 sonnets composed by a GW-Basic program which was written by Edward Reib. To be clear, Edward did not write the sonnets, but rather wrote the program which wrote the sonnets. All 1001 sonnets were written between 8 and 11:30pm on March 12th, 2023, and compiled. Some of them can be thought provoking, but mostly they are just humorous and absurd.
