100 Stories: Finding God in Everyday Life

Beginning in July of 2000 and ending in November of 2008 Joy Duperault wrote a weekly faith column for a newspaper in southwest Florida. Initially part of a human services ministry, the weekly columns quickly morphed into a personal and humorous reflection about God and His people. Joy found that when in tune to God, He reveals Himself throughout the day-- at work, in the garden or marketplace, at a traffic light, and certainly at home with family and friends. Her continual surprise at His revelations gives rise to the soft humor with which she tells these brief stories, perfect for use in Bible studies, office devotionals, and other small group gatherings. A short prayer is offered at the end of each piece. The "100 Stories" have been selected from the hundreds of columns written, and is a collection of the author's favorites, chosen in hopes of bringing joy and a bit of spiritual contemplation to readers.
