100 and One Chicken Jokes and One Pigeon Joke

As a child, I remember swapping jokes with family and friends daily. If we heard a "gut buster" in school, we would even call family and friends in other towns to tell them the joke, just to hear that familiar guffaw when you finished with the "punch line". That conversation added to the many blessings of the day. Now I rarely hear people tell each other jokes or jokes that should be repeated. People speak mindless slang and rhetoric which is vulgar and without humor. You also may receive an e-mail with a rhetorical thought but isn't really humor.
