Author Marguerite Kirk knows what it takes for a business to succeed. She has spent her professional life watching thousands of businesses fail. This description may be from another edition of this product.
If you've got a small business--particularly if you are just starting out--this book will be very helpful. It's a very good resource, I'd recommend it along with Jay Conrad Levinson's Guerrilla Marketing and the book on yellow pages advertising by Barry Maher (if you, like most of us have to advertise in the phone book). I'd also consider Denny Hatch's book on direct marketing, if that's a part of your business.

This book is motivating, entertaining and most of all, educational. Marguerite has taken a complex subject matter; one in which a layperson can become lost in terminology, and has managed to divide its components into a format understandable to even a budding entrepreneur. Marguerite has shared not only her vast business and legal expertise but has also personalized this book with her own wisdom of life. She has stressed the importance of balancing career with other priority issues including family, leisure and healthy lifestyle choices. This is a must read book which provides a comprehensive prescription for both personal `and entrepreneural success.
An excellent book for any entrepreneur.
