This is about a dialogue between Conscious and Unconscious, seen as two celebrated performers of the most celebrated of the shows: that of life. An animated, bold and revealing dialogue between two entities entrusted with the greatest of responsibilities: making choices. To speak or remain silent, love or hate, fight or flee. Oscar and Felix--not coincidentally like the names of the characters of "The Odd Couple" by Neil Simon--give voice to the Conscious and the Unconscious of George Martini, a New York scientist of international renown. The two meet in the only moment in time when this is potentially possible: while their "landlord" is kept alive by machines after a spicy "hiccup". In this unique and unrepeatable situation, Oscar "the Conscious" and Felix "the Unconscious" find themselves face to face. Initially they fight, throwing the responsibility for the unforeseen incident at each other, but subsequently the fast, no-holds barred, punch-back conversation takes off, thanks to the initiative of Oscar "the Conscious", who insists on being put aside about everything that has influenced the life of George Martini without him, insomuch that Oscar claims to have been kept unaware of the happenings. The outcome of the intensive care will ultimately be favorable, and Felix "the Unconscious" followed by Oscar "the Conscious" fit back into the casing of George Martini to continue to accompany him on his journey in this dimension. But in the meantime the encounter/clash between our two interpreters has drawn up the story of one life, a metaphor for millions of other lives. Even our own.
