Akhlak E Hindi (Urdu: اخلاق ہندی) is the first Urdu book printed in printing-press in 1803. The book was written by Mir Bahadur Ali Hussaini and deals with ethics.
The first book of prose in the history of Urdu language that came out secretly from the printing press was Akhlaq Hindi. The book was a translation of the Persian book Mufrah Al-Qulub by Mir Bahadur Ali Hussaini, the Mir Munshi of Fort William College, Calcutta.
