I started reading Dan Brown with “The Da Vinci Code” and followed that string of novels.
Now, getting back to “Deception Point,” we have the same type of mystery. Too bad I did not start with this critter, as it is too easy to figure out the story, the bad guy(s), and what it is all about. However, it is still a fun read, and some of the details can easily be missed if you skip to the end and say, “I knew it!” Some people may get upset because he picks on NASA. Dan Brown has a habit (at least in this novel) of spoon-feeding the questions and answers.
Something unique has been found beneath hundreds of years of ice at the pole. This can be a game-changer not only for NASA but the universe as we know it. But wait, there is something suspicious. Do not look too closely if you value your life.
