Raising children in Japan. A Mexican mother sharing the story of her family. As a foreigner married to a Japanese man, she decided to experience the culture day by day and look for the people she felt most comfortable with. This way she could enjoy the time spent with their children with a straight heart. Her will for learning the culture and language helped not only her, but the people around her to make raising children a magical experience full of surprises. When their children were small, they joined her husband on his business trips abroad. As they grew and school duties didn't allow them to follow him every time, they found different ways to continue learning from the world. Also, she kept and keeps close contact with her community in order to learn from one another. Now that both their children are adults and part of the labor force, as a request of some friends she decided to share her story. Written originally in Spanish she translated it into English and Japanese in answer to a request made by people living in a similar situation.
