A summer day begins at the cozy, always-open neighborhood store in Cheongpa-dong. The manager is Seon-suk, who lives with frustration because of her troublesome son. Meanwhile, Min-sik, the son of the store's owner -- the charming Mrs. Yeom -- acts as the proprietor, even though he has no real interest in running the business. His only motivation is profit and cutting what he considers unnecessary costs, which has turned the store into an "inconvenient" one in many ways.
