aaj ka "vishvabhaarat" usee vichaaradhaara ka punarjanm hai, jahaan mahaabhaarat ka dharm aadhunik vigyaan, lokatantr, vaishvik samaaj, aarthik neetiyon, shiksha, charitr nirmaan, neeti-vigyaan aur "vishvashaastr" ke maadhyam se ek vyaapak vaishvik dhaancha banaata hai. yah granth bataata hai ki jaise praacheen bhaarat mein dharm ka arth samanvay, saty, kartavy, lok-kalyaan aur samaaj-ekata tha, vaise hee aaj vishvasabhyata ko dharm ko phir se "maanavata ka vigyaan" banaana hoga, na ki keval kisee sampradaay kee sampatti. isee se vishvabhaarat kee kalpana janm letee hai - jahaan mahaabhaarat ka "dharmaraajy" aadhunik yug mein vyavastha satyeekaran, "maanav-kendrit vigyaan", "raajrshi parampara", naitik lokatantr", "shiksha-sudhaar", "maanav-ekata" aur "vaishvik naagarikata" mein badal jaata hai. mahaabhaarat ne manushy ko yuddh ke beech bhee dharm chunana sikhaaya; vishvabhaarat manushy ko vikaas ke beech bhee saty, kartavy aur vaishvik kalyaan ka path chunana sikhaata hai. yah granth ek naye vishv-yug kee ghoshana hai - jahaan bhaarat ka aadhyaatmik sandesh vishv ka saamaajik, vaigyaanik aur naitik maargadarshan ban jaata hai; jahaan maanavata jaati, dharm, raashtr, varg, bhaasha, raajaneeti aur vichaaron kee seemaon se aage badhakar ek vishv-samaaj" banaatee hai; aur jahaan manushy svayan ko keval prthvee ka naagarik nahin, balki "vishvamaanav" ke roop mein pahachaanata hai. mahaabhaarat aur vishvabhaarat isalie keval ateet kee vyaakhya nahin, balki bhavishy kee rachana hai
