maanav sabhyata ka itihaas keval satta, yuddh ya saamraajyon kee ghatanaon ka vrttaant nahin hai; yah chetana ke kramik utthaan ka lekha-jokha hai-vah nirantar yaatra jisamen manushy apanee seemaon ko pahachaanate hue ek aise saty kee or badhata hai jo usake bheetar bhee hai aur brahmaand ke vistaar mein bhee. jab-jab yah chetana vikrt, kamajor ya dishaaheen hotee hai-avataar prakat hota hai. bhaarateey parampara mein avataar koee chamatkaarik hastakshep nahin, balki samay, samaaj aur chetana-teenon ke santulan ka naya vigyaan hai. yahee vigyaan is granth ka mool aadhaar hai. yah dastaavez spasht karata hai ki avataar ka pratyek udbhav sansaar ke saty aur dharm-chakr ko punah vyavasthit karane ka prayaas hai-chaahe vah pratyaksh vidhi ho, jaise poorv avataaron mein hua, ya prerak vidhi ho-jaise buddh aur antim avataar mein hota hai . isee prshthabhoomi mein "lav kush sinh (kalki mahaavataar)" naamak yah vistrt krti ek aise granth ke roop mein prakat hotee hai jo kaal-vigyaan, yug-parivartan, avataar-darshan, vishvashaastr, saarvabhaum saty-siddhaant, maanav-chetana aur bhavishy ke satyayug kee sanrachana ko ek sootr mein pirotee hai. dastaavez mein upasthit pratyek kathan-chaahe vah avataar-chakr ka ho, vishvashaastr ka ho, saarvajanik pramaan ka ho ya saty-pratishtha ka-ek hee disha mein sanket karata haih sansaar ab ek nae yug-satyayug/svarnayug-kee dahaleej par khada hai. aur is parivartan kee aadhaarashila hai- saty, gyaan, karm aur vishvamaanav chetana.
