The Sanatan Vaishnav Bairagi Tradition: From the Vedic Age to Modern India: A Research Study Based on Vedic and Epigraphic Evidence [Hindi]

By: Naresh Das Vaishnav Nimbark

Does the history of the Sanatan Vaishnav Bairagi tradition begin only in the medieval period, or do its roots reach back to the Vedic age? This research volume seeks the answer through evidence alone.

Drawing on the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, the Mahabharata, the Ramayana, inscriptions, copper plates, Persian chronicles, government records, European travel accounts, and modern historical scholarship, this book presents a systematic, evidence-based study of the Vaishnav Bairagi tradition's journey from the Vedic age to modern India.

This is not a work of sectarian advocacy. Where direct historical evidence exists, facts are presented as such; where only tradition survives, that distinction is clearly maintained throughout.

The author, Naresh Das Vaishnav Nimbark, retired after 24 years of service in the Indian Army, having represented India in the Kargil War and the UN Peacekeeping Mission (Sierra Leone). Since retirement, he has devoted his life to evidence-based research and writing on Sanatan history.

A valuable reference for historians, researchers, students, and serious students of Sanatan culture.
