I always enjoy a good Heartsong Presents novel, this story was especially well written. I found the plot intriguing! I was pulled into the plotline at the first chapter. Riley is a very real character with real problems. I also enjoyed the strong message of faith. Two thumbs up!

Riley O'Hare left the cranberry farm to build her own career, but now her grandfather needs her help. Her brother, John, has been killed in a car accident, and he left Riley his two-year old son, Chad, to her care, so she doesn't have a choice. Family comes first, and she's headed back home to the farm. Zane Baldwin was John's busines partner. John was working on something important, but he never shared what it was. Zane suspects John's death was no accident, but he can't prove anything until he finds John's secret file, and Riley might hold the key. Seasons of Love is a warm, tender tale of love and suspense. The reader is drawn into the story as Riley and Zane struggle to solve the strange puzzle John left behind. Strong faith message.

Riley O'Hare is ready to get away from her ex-boyfriend, who still wants to be her boyfriend, and away from corporate ladder-climbing. So when her brother dies, leaving her guardian of her two-year-old nephew, and her grandfather asks her to move back to the East Coast to help with the family farm, Riley leaves California forever. Riley's brother's business partner, Zane Baldwyn, is in trouble. His company will never survive without his partner, unless Zane can find the answers to the mysteries left behind by John's unexpected death. Riley seems to be the key, but she doesn't know it yet. Could Zane ever be content to give up his ambitions and help Riley with the farm? I enjoyed this book. The mystery and suspense really drew me in, and I liked the main characters. They were very real and I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. I usually don't like short novels, but this one was definitely worth reading. I highly recommend it.
More Than a Romance

I've never read a "Heartsong" novella before and never one by Beth Goddard. This is her first book and a great first start! I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Riley is thrown into a life she "thinks" she wants, but her new life has more than she counted on. Zane believes he's at the Sanderford cranberry farm to save his company, but God has more in mind. This is more than a romance. There's also a great mystery to be solved. Well worth the read.
