The Dark Night of the Soul: Growing in the Season of Loss

I am not thinking about the dreams I don't have. I am thinking about the opportunities I do have. I am not thinking about where I am not. I am thinking about where God has placed me now. I am not thinking about what I have not done. I am thinking about what I can do. Today must be fully loved and embraced for it is the seed, promise and fuel of every dream I wrote these short essays over the course of a year. The essay "The heartache of God until the end were written in a month. They are deeply personal and reflect my personal journey seeking purpose and identity with God. It is my prayer that the lessons I have learned on the journey through the "dark night" would give you strength for your "dark night". Above all, I pray that you would experience the love of God even in the difficult seasons of life. I have learned that the lessons learned in the darkness become light and life for others. There are treasures to find and strength to grow. The dark night of the soul has great potential to become the season of the greatest personal growth in our lives. These essays are written chronologically. They show over time, the lessons I have learned and my progression in the darkness.
