Weird Novel

7/5/26 - 7/11/26 The Wedding People by Alison Espach I read this book as one of the Goodreads Community Challenges for July 2026. I found the book very weird. The author used the word weird quite often in the novel. While not a fan of reading about depression, unhappiness, suicide, death, domination of being led by what others think of you, etc., I felt it stuck to the theme of the novel throughout. Unfortunately through a tumultuous time in our society currently I found it a novel that was very hard to swallow and would have liked a different ending much more uplifting than the one it had. Not a fan of such droll writings.
