Book Overview

Entrepreneurship, 5th Edition helps aspiring entrepreneurs understand the process of starting a new venture and appreciate the vital role of entrepreneurship in the economy. This accessible textbook explains the steps involved in starting a new company, and offers insights on engaging with startups as investors, bankers, accountants, lawyers, vendors, customers, and employees. Delving into the real-world trials and tribulations of entrepreneurship, the text covers every stage of the entrepreneurial process, from searching for an opportunity and molding it into an attractive product or service, to launching, growing, and eventually harvesting the new venture.

The fully revised and updated fifth edition integrates core concepts of entrepreneurship and practical case studies--enabling students to develop an inclusive perspective on how businesses are born, grow, and succeed or fail. The authors explore the entrepreneurial competitiveness of nations throughout the world, describe the critical factors for starting a new enterprise and building it into a successful business, and demonstrate how to build a workable business model. Clear, straightforward chapters cover each essential area of entrepreneurship, including marketing, strategy, team building, financial projections, business planning, and more.

good quality

My book came in ahead of schedule and in plenty of time for the start of school. The book's quality was great, it was new and wrapped in plastic which kept it from getting damaged. I'd definitely order from this person again!

Entrepreneurship

Good read. Contains a lot of useful information for anyone who is thinking about becoming an entrepreneur. Contains cases of various companies, some well-known, and explains the initiative the companies took in order to be very successful.

what a GEM

I'm actually using this book right now for one of my classes. Normally I don't read my text books, i just kinda reference them. But this book is just gold. The case studies are the best. We get to see first hand what entrepreneurs go though and all the challenges that may come up. It's a great reality check. I'm not finished with it yet, but at this rate, I WANT to finish it, even though it's not required for class. If you're new to entrepreneurship, but you know you HAVE to control your own financial destiny. This book is a must.

Entrepeneurship

One of the best books I had in College. The case studies in the text were extremely helpful. I would recommend the book to any budding entrepreneur or business major.

Don't leave home without it!

Hey fellow Entrepreneurs.....This book is our Bible, Old and New Testament both. It presents an owners' perspective, a strategic "big picture" perspective on starting a new business venture. William Bygrave and Andrew Zacharakis, the authors, write like they are our coaches who want us to succeed. If you truly want to transform your business dream into a successful enterprise put this playbook into action. They wrote it for us. Buy it and use it. Break a leg!
