A stunning expose of the hidden agenda behind the global affairs that has proved to be astonishingly accurate in predicting current events. This description may be from another edition of this product.
David Icke reveals some startling facts behind the people/events/organisations/ that have controlled and influenced our lives right up to the present day. I have a favourite saying - 'Everything you know is wrong'. Forget the 'news' reports focussing on Mr.Icke's sanity - once you've read what he has to say you'll realise why the controlled ( & controlling) media, want his reputation ruined. Those who argue "If what he says is true, he would have been bumped off by now" just don't get it. Character assassination is the weapon of choice. Icke is a hugely courageous man.
An enlightening and eye-opening book. Bravo, Mr. Icke!

I think that one of the greatest gifts any author can give us is an understanding of our world from a new perspective, even if that perspective isn't always comforting or conforms to our perception of reality. It is my opinion that David Icke has done just that in this volume, he has produced a superlatively-writen work that is both scholarly in that he corobates most of his assetions as well as one that easy to read and liberating. When I first began to read Mr. Icke's earlier works, I balked at most what he wrote, but the more I thought about it, the more some of the seemingly-diseparate elements of the world, such a religion, science, and big business, came into focus for me and I realized that perhaps they weren't as unrelated as I may have at first assumed. That there may indeed be an insideous conspiracy to deprive humanity of it's freedom and spiritual heritage.I think that the title is very apropiate, "Know the truth, and the truth will set you free." That is not to say that I think all of the contents are completely true, but there seems to me that this book has a strong sense of versimilitude, if not actual truth. I think that this volume is essential for those who cannot stomach the garbage we are inundated with on a daily basis by the elite-dominated, sensationalistic mass media. I would also recomend Charlote Iserbyte's "The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America" and Zacharia Sitchin's Earth Chronicles.
Mind Blowing, Compelling and Dangerous

The most scholarly of "conspiracy" books that I've ever read. Packed with enough "facts" to convince even the most skeptical reader, "...and the truth shall set you free" is frightening in its verisimilitude. Unlike many books that seek to "expose" the Global Elite, Freemasonry, and government conspiracies, Icke's book seems remarkably free of the usual blaming and dogma associated with the genre. Will pique the interest of those who question authority and aggravate those who don't. One of the concepts-- that the "real influence" is wielded by beings (or an energy) from the Fourth Dimension called the Prison Warder Consciousness--seems more like fantasy/science-fiction than fact, unless viewed as metaphor. It reminded me of a Colin Wilson novel called "The Mind Parasites," which scared the blue Jesus out of me when I read it as a seventeen year old, half a lifetime ago. Icke's book managed to convince thi! s reader of sombunall (some but not all) of the information, but left me with the question of motive (besides the desire to nibble on souls as if we were spiritual apertifs). Why is this Prison Warder Consciousness busting our chops? And, just as important, are there people in power who are actively and successfully opposing the Global Elite? In spite of these points, I highly recommend this book. It will open your mind to another reality tunnel and just might scare you into being a better human being.
