This book contains 17 chapters that define basic concepts of loss control in an informative, easy to read format. The strength of this book was the author's straight forward practical approach to loss control leadership. An effective methodology to implementation, with a motivating style of writting made this my most popular book in OH & S to date. This book is one of the few that have also become a permanant addition to my reference library. The books weakness was that it did not cover the historical aspects in great detail (a weakness that may reflect the reviewers interests). The book was a text used at British Columbia Institute of Technology for it's OH & S program.
