An informative, inspiring book!

This has long been one of my favorite books, not only for understanding the Tree Calendar, but also for sheer inspiration when it comes to putting together rituals the year-round. "Year of Moons, Season of Trees" is chock-full of all kinds of interesting information, all presented in friendly teacher-to-pupil style and divided up according to Tree/Season. Some books have an aura all their own; something about them that draws you to keep the book around, long after you've read it a dozen times. This is one of those type of books. You'll find yourself returning to it again and again, for that little nugget of information that you can't remember or for inspiration when you want to create a ritual. It's a real shame this book is out of print; find one, by all means, and add it to your library. It is a keeper.

Celtic Trees and free thinking

Pattalee is a very generous person who seeks the best in each of us. Her style in this text does not reveal what she expects the book to accomplish. She is more then just a tutor. She has a geninue interest in the growth of each pupil. If you had a half hour of instruction from Pattalee and then this book, you could easily understand that she is not just passing on what works for her, but the free thinking and ethical standards she uses in her own works.
