Kincaid Illustrated Version

When I was looking to purchase A Child's Garden of Verses, I couldn't find an older, classic version. I thought I might be disappointed, but I didn't find that to be so. I really like this version. Kincaid's art compliments the classic poetry nicely. Despite the title, these poems are not just for children. I think many adults will love them too, just as we love other Stevenson writings.

The Best Garden

This fabulous edition of Robert Louis Stevenson's *Child's Garden of Verses* is unparalleled in terms of the art work. It's hard to imagine someone who could better capture artistically the spirit of Stevenson's poems than Kinkade. I've purchased used copies for children in my family, considering this edition superior to others still in print. It's highly unlikely that the purchaser of this book will experience buyer's remorse.

Excellent for Gift Giving

This book is a great gift for a new baby and his mom/dad. It has all the classic poems, awesome Thomas Kincade pictures and is sprinkled with scripture that ties it all together!
