I enjoy Elizabeth George's books - have not read this yet - but I have read several of her books & always very encouraging.

Encouraging devotions...

Her latest devotional, Walking with the Women of the Bible, allows readers to take a closer look at the women in the Bible. We can learn through their trials, mistakes, and actions. She develops the stories of their lives and shows us what lessons they teach. Each remarkable woman has several devotions dedicated to her, and each shares a different aspect of their life. All Christians will benefit from this book. While it is geared toward women, men also will find truths within the cover. George uses a style that is simple and easy-to-understand. She begins each devotion with scripture and follows with a short narrative. The devotions are encouraging and enchanting.

Awesome

This book was given to me by a wonderful christian woman who wrote an inspiring personal letter on the inside cover. It was the first devotional I had ever read. It meant so much to me that I did the same for a new christian woman that I had met later on. I wrote a letter to her on the page next to my letter and prayed that it would mean as much to her in her new walk. I miss this book so much I think I am going to buy another copy for my three daughters.
