Stackhouse looks at many examples of how the Western world has both helped and destroyed opportunities for the poorest people on the planet through good-intentioned development programs. His conclusion is simple, outrageous, and inspiring. I could not put the book down, but am more convicted than ever on my role as a global citizen.
