Following The Signs is a collection of eleven tales of imaginative horror from the dark psyche of Edwin Selph. Herein is a divergence into a realm where the boundaries between the tangible world of the material and the impalpable machinations of the ethereal intersect in a hallucinatory crossroads of demonic gnosis. Here madness is a frequency with its own calculated algorithms and nihilism is the inherent moral code in a construct of hypnagogic reality populated with phantom projections from the quantum shadows of the collective subconscious. Some of the material in Following The Signs is semi-autobiographical based on the author's experiences abroad in places like Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Pacific Northwest as well as his local geography. Perhaps the theme of the collection is best summed up by the words of Aleister Crowley, "I understand the darkness. Why should I seek the light?"
