This book is packed with breathing exercises and visualizations that will appeal to young children. Everyone I read it to said they were excited to see the next page or try another animal breath story. The illustrations are full page high quality color illustrations, so the book is also visually appealing to read to a class/group. These are fun mental exercises to do (and imagination prompts) that be done indoors or outdoors. It’s also very helpful for using to help calm down a child who’s upset. Kids can choose their favorite exercises to revisit and repeat over the years, too.

This book is beautifully Illustrated and the breathing/mindfulness activities are very engaging for my daughter (6yo). She tends to get very energetic and disregulated in the evening. We have started doing a few of these activities before our bedtime routine, and everything goes so much smoother now.
