Not what you think

A crazy spin on Cinderella with a loveable character; Theo. Fun fun fun!

Absolutely Magical!

I absolutely loved the first book, How to Summon a Fairy Godmother and so eagerly awaited for this one to see if Theo could get a happy ever after, despite her sacrifice to become and familiar and the loss of Kaz when he became mortal again. And I must say this book lived up to the greatness, taking the reader on a wild ride of new truths coming to life and a race to find an assassin before Theo is killed or put to sleep. I love Theo, who usually has the best sassy remarks to fairies who think less of her, her ability to be a cute yet spikey dangerous hedgehog (part of that familiar powers she now has and fits her perfectly!) and I had a hard time putting this down because of all the dangers in the path Theo chose to keep her freedom and protect her friends while they protect her too. And thankfully she has a bunch of those, despite her spikey personality, from her musician friends, to Lock and Cecily, plus Phineas, and a new friend, Alby! Love that little goblin who always wants to help and is just so darn cheerful! This is an adventure, mystery, hilarity, and of course just a tad bit of romance to sweeten things up and provide the most perfect happy ending after all has been resolved! So, if you are looking for something light and entertaining, leaving you in a bubbly good mood, then this book is for you! And though this arc is finished, I would not mind at all if Laura J. Mayo wrote a few more books in this world! Though I will definitely read anything else she might write. I am so happy to have been given the chance to read a most wonderful book!
