A very dense, sometimes difficult to understand read. This was the first book on jurisprudence I read, and I felt like I was already behind by some of the allusions made in this book. A good informative book, Understanding Jurisprudence is for readers who are already familiar with the basic tenants of jurisprudence and want to learn more about a myriad of different political philosophers.
