Get the 6th edition to avoid metric

Spoiler Alert: metric units. If you're doing any work in the U.S. 27 years after this edition came out chances are you're still not metric. Unit conversions are straightforward for mathematical equations, but the real purpose I bought this book was for the charts/tables of empirical coefficients which I falsely assumed would be given in both units. Finally, if you're going to go metric, might as well go all the way and be S.I. (m, s, kg etc) instead of using mm, cm, km.
