I loved the apocalyptic aura of this book. The author makes Vampirism more than a state of being, he turns it into a disease that plagues New York City. I felt for the characters, one of whom has leukemia, an interesting blood-parallel. I found it quite eerie in parts, and would definitely recommend it for vampire fiction fans.
