Gothic/Horror for those who appreciate literature.

Dziemianowicz does a superb job of assembling an eclectic collection of intense, macabre stories by female authors. Nadine Gordimer, Louise Erdich, Shirley Jackson, Jean Rhys, Doris Lessing, and Susan Sontag are but a few of the writers featured in this book. Each piece is tightly written and peopled with memorable characters.
