Valuable for programmers.

This nice hardcover official guide from American Megatrends is a must for someone learning very low-level programming or anyone who needs to configure and older computer, like a 286 or 386. Though it's somewhat out-dated, the basics are still the same. 15 chapters include BIOS Software Interrupts, CMOS RAM Map, EISA Overview, Error Messages, etc. & so forth.
