I consider myself a capable book scout with the ability to go out, whether in the warehouse or elsewhere, and find interesting books. I wouldn't consider myself an expert on any particular genre or category, but I do have an affinity for the Modern Library publisher. I also enjoy Sports collectibles, particularly hockey.

I've been working in rare book sales since about 2001. I started selling books online after first becoming aware of the internet and had begun to buy books online. I had a ready-made inventory from a family library that consisted of a general stock both good and rare. I uploaded approximately 2000 books in my first upload and had my first sale the same day after lunch. It was a computer book to NY. I have a broad subject matter interest. In the beginning, I specialized in fine wine and computer books.
