Wonderful storyline and beautiful artwork

Nothing enhances a great storyline like beautiful artwork to complete it. I bought this as part of a collection of Fuge books (the illustrator) we own, but found that the storyline helped our boys get along better. The main characters have an argumentative day but by the end they patch things up in a charming way.

A Little Bit Preachy

I truly have nothing against preachy books. But I can imagine this book being held in front of a classroom by the teacher with a little lesson afterwards. It's not quite as great for just reading at home for the story before bedtime. The illustrations are great fun.

Mother and Son favorites

We fell in love with this book after reading it at the library. It is now a part of our home collection. I would recommend this book to every parent that reads to their child.
